Endovenous treatment of acute iliofemoral vein thrombosis with aspiration thrombectomy catheter – early clinical outcomes

The acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) affects many in- and out-hospital patients. The vast majority of these patients are treated conservatively. At this study, the safety and efficacy of an aspiration thrombectomy catheter was evaluated and showed promising results regarding clot removal for the treatment of acute DVT.
