TEVAR + Endoanchor: a new less invasive and durable solution for distal thoracic disease endoextension in short & tapered necks?

Endoanchors in addition to TEVAR or EVAR may be used to achieve a tight fixation of aortic stent grafts to the aortic wall, avoiding migration and reducing the risk of Type I endoleaks and procedure failure and eventually gain long term durability.

This video is a clinical example of how In the thoracic scenario, its proper use allows the treatment of descending thoracic ulcers or aneurysms with short, tapered or angulated distal necks, avoiding the use of more extended procedures like FEVAR or BEVAR, saving time, expenses and reducing procedure invasivity.
