PiPeR-technique is an alternative and standardized approach to perform Deep Vein Arterialization, which utilizes the Pioneer Plus catheter (Philips Volcano) to create the arterial-venous fistula (AVF) in a totally percutaneous fashion which uses IVUS guidance to choose the best spot to create the AVF and to evaluate the right distance between artery and vein.
